Jay-Z will perform at the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show. The NFL, Apple Music, and the rapper announced the selection on Monday. The game is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2019. The firm recently signed a five-year extension to keep that role through 2029. Since taking over, the shows have featured more hip-hop and rap artists.
Last year’s show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, starred Bad Bunny. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin joined him on stage. The last halftime show held in Los Angeles took place in 2022. That lineup included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak made cameo appearances.
Recent performers include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023. Jay-Z has never headlined a Super Bowl halftime show despite his ties to the league and past performers.
The 25-time Grammy winner is currently touring to mark the 30th anniversary of his debut album
